As of April 19, 2023 the NB Pipe Trades Board of Trustees has approved the addition of Licensed Counselling Therapists to the approved providers list for counselling therapy. The counselling benefit maximum of $500 / calendar year will now apply to services rendered by a Licensed Psychologist, a Registered Social Worker, or a Licensed Counselling Therapist.
Please note, only services rendered on or after April 19, 2023 will be considered a covered expense for the Licensed Counselling Therapist.
